6:22 p.m. [2003-03-09]

Ah, been awhile since I wrote.

This'll just be an update on all that's happened...

So, my parents pick me up unexpectedly on Friday. Just a little early, but hey, that's ok. The drive home was long and boring...4 hours in the middle of Illinois...and suddenly my mom remembers we left my $100 amp and cords outside the door of my dorm. Eh, these things happen. But it made us realize how forgetful we can be.

The next day was nicer; a little less stressful. Mom took me to the store to buy (a lot) of groceries. Yey! Food! Later Dad took me to get things for Blinky and I ended up getting a 'suckerfish' to eat the algae off the tank. This little guy rocks, my tank is already clean.

We rented movies, I think they are: End of Days, The Bourne Identity, Lilo and Stitch, and Harry Potter & the Sorcerer's Stone. I really only chose the Bourne Identity, the rest were for the parents.

So the next day, today, we all went out to get things done. I really like my dad's new truck, it's pretty cool. Very different to me. My parents bought a new washer and dryer (VERY good). They've been referring to our dryer as the 'African Queen' which needs to be sent down the river. I said it sounds like the trains that go by my dorm in the mornings.

I got a vaccuum cleaner...I look forward to killing the dust in my room. And...got Donnie Darko on DVD. AND a DVD player ;)

It's been quite a financial weekend
