2:18 p.m. [2002-08-12]

Whohoo! I'm officially 18 years of age. Yey :)

I gotta Blinky! My parents promise was true, we went out to a local pet store and found a perfect little Blinky. All 'neurotic' and everything. He's now sitting in a Bears mug waiting for the water to calibrate...it's kinda funny. The tank looks awesome too.

Before Blinky we went to breakfast in a small corner cafe in downtown Crystal Lake. I asked for french toast with as little egg as possible and I end up with the exact opposite.

After that we crossed the street to the Player's Bench and I got an Irish tin whistle :)

Then Blinky. Poor store girl, I prolly annoyed her like crazy. I couldn't decide on a fish. A *gold*fish. They're different, really. And my friend that works there gave me a 15% off discount...which was really nice. We didn't even know till we left the store.

At home I just set up the tank and Blinky is sitting in his Bears mug. Maybe I can teach him to jump out of the water like Chance did. Hm...

And now I'm waiting for mom to finish up her Jazzercize stuff...they have some surprises for me, and, being human nature, I'm curious. I didn't get anything to 'open' for this birthday :) It's wierd but I can deal with it.
